Our Story

Beyond Limits Training exists to move beyond guesswork.

We begin by understanding how your body moves, identifying limitations early, and building training that ages well with your body. Every program begins with assessment, not assumption.

Who We Work With:

  • Adults 30+ who want to train smarter, not just harder

  • Recreational athletes who want to stay active without breaking down

  • Older adults who value balance, independence, and confidence

Many clients come in with:

  • Past injuries or recurring pain

  • Uncertainty about how to train safely as their body changes

  • A desire to stay active without feeling exhausted or intimidated

Our approach:

We use Kinetisense 3D motion analysis to understand how your body moves, identify what is holding you back, and build progress that lasts.

About Grant Janavs

Beyond Limits Training is led by Grant Janavs, movement coach and exercise physiologist.​

Coaching Philosophy

Grant’s approach emphasizes:​

  • Training with intention, not exhaustion

  • Clear progression without unnecessary complexity

  • Programs that adapt to injuries, life demands, and changing capacity

Background and Experience

  • Multi-sport athletic background, including 14 years of tennis and ongoing surfing, shaping a long-term focus on joint health, movement quality, and durability.

  • Hands-on coaching experience, informed by education, mentorship, and real world applications, with an emphasis on helping people move better, feel stronger, and train safely as their needs change.

Education and Credentials

  • B.A. in Sports Medicine, Pepperdine University

  • ACSM Exercise Physiology certification

  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified​

Grant continues ongoing education in human movement, biomechanics, and applied exercise science to keep his work grounded, current, and effective.
