To anyone who might be considering getting an assessment or working with Grant Janavs as a movement coach/exercise physiologist, I would like to assure you that Grant is not only knowledgeable about his area of expertise, he is professional in all aspects of punctuality, communication and agenda.

It was serendipity that lead me to meet Grant one fateful day.  I had been thinking about finding a movement coach or someone who could help me improve my mobility since I was turning 57 years old and was noticing that I was slowly losing my agility and coordination.  I just wasn’t sure who to work with.  Grant was giving a free assessment at the West Newport Beach tennis courts the day I was there and he did it on the spot.  The assessment was very insightful and meaningful to me.  It illuminated the problems that I had already felt I was encountering and a few that I was not aware of.  Grant provided me with the results immediately.  He took my phone # and contacted me to provide a fitness contract with costs per session and what the program would entail.

Since I am a believer in investing in my health and fitness, I had no problems signing up for the once a week program.  After we got underway and I could see the noticeable changes in mobility and strength through Grant’s help and guidance.  I decided to add a 2nd session per week to go to a twice a week plan.  I have enjoyed seeing my progress with the 3D motion capture and fully knowing that this program has enhanced my joy of playing tennis by improving my balance, strength and flexibility!  I will not say that this program is easy, medium or hard but I like that after each session Grant asks me which of the 3 that I felt it was for the day.

Grant is a great guy!  He is considerate, hard working, wise and wants to help you get stronger and healthier!  I hope this testimonial will help anyone who is “on the fence” and wondering if paying the money for Grant’s program is worth it.  I would say, invest in yourself.  My favorite saying is, “good ain’t cheap, and cheap ain’t good!”

Best wishes,

I’ve worked with Grant for over three months, and the transformation has been incredible. Under his guidance, I’ve improved my posture, walking, and overall attitude toward fitness. I’ve also lost 5% of my body weight, which has made a noticeable difference in my blood sugar levels, cardiovascular health, and sleep quality.

Grant’s approach is always positive and encouraging. He knows exactly how much to challenge you without causing pain, and he creates workouts that leave you feeling energized rather than exhausted.

Whether you’re an athlete looking to refine your performance and strengthen weak areas, or someone like me who hadn’t exercised in a while and wasn’t sure where to start, Grant is the ideal trainer. Many people think they can just work out on their own, but it’s like dancing—you repeat the same familiar steps because they’re comfortable, not necessarily because they’re effective. Over time, we stop engaging certain muscle groups, leading to weakness and compensation in others.

One of Grant’s greatest strengths is his ability to target those underused muscles you didn’t even realize needed attention. His deep expertise and thoughtful, individualized approach have not only improved my strength and balance but also renewed my confidence in how I move and feel every day.
